Day 9 try a new exercise with a friend
It’s easier to stay motivated and try new things with a good workout buddy. So grab a friend and get moving! Take a class, join a kickball game or find a new exercise that excites you and will get your heart pumping. Beyond feeling accomplished, exercise may also lead to better quality of sleep, a lower resting heart rate, less stress and more energy.
Expert Tip: Not all workouts are the same. Cardio works your heart muscles and improves how efficiently your body is in delivering oxygen to muscles, while strength training builds muscle so it becomes easier to move around.
